Britain's national bird
The Robin Erithacus rubecula) is found across Europe, east to Western Siberia and south to North Africa. British Robins are largely resident. Scandinavian and Russian Robins migrate to Britain and western Europe.

|The Black redstart (Phoenicurus ochruros) has a palearktisk propagation and breeding in Eurasia and Morocco in North Africa. Parts of the population is migratory birds that overwinter in the Mediterranean, northern Africa as far south as Ethiopia and Somalia, the Middle East, India and Southeast Asia as far east as to Burma.|
