Treeswift

Treeswifts or crested swifts, Hemiprocnidae, are closely related to the true swifts. They are distributed from India and South East Asia through Indonesia to New Guinea and the Solomon Islands.

The Swift's (Apus apus) breeding range extends over the Palearctic region. During the winter of the northern hemisphere, the Swift is found between Equatorial Africa and South Africa.

The white-rumped swift (Apus caffer) breed in much of sub-Saharan Africa, and have expanded into Morocco and southern Spain.
